Dutchmen ahead in NAB Bliksembeveiliging & Gemeente ‘s-Hertogenbosch Prize
Two Dutch riders finished on top in the afternoon classes at The Dutch Masters in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. The two phase special NAB Bliksembeveiliging Prize over 1,40 meters was won by Leopold van Asten and VDL Groep Iron Z (v. Charisma Z). In the Gemeente ‘s-Hertogenbosch Prize it was Harrie Smolders with Escape Z (v. Emerald) who finished up top.
In the NAB Bliksembeveiliging Prize second place behind Van Asten went to the Frenchman Roger-Yves Bost and Urane (v. Miami de Semilly). The third place went to the ever so quick Italian Emanuele Gaudiano with Julius D (v. Arezzo VDL). Fourth went to Gregory Wathelet with Melia de Regor (v. Elvis ter Putte) and fifth was for Simon Delestre with his Hermes Ryan (v. Hugo Gesmeray). Kevin Jochems and Cornetboy (v. Cornet’s Stern) closed the top six for The Netherlands.
Harrie Smolders was quick, very quick in the Gemeente ‘s-Hertogenbosch Prize. He and Escape Z clocked a time of 62.22 seconds, well ahead of the German Christian Ahlmann and d’Aganix 2000 Z (v. Dominator 2000 Z) who finished in 66.03 seconds. The third place went to Maikel van der Vleuten with Edgar (v. Warrant). Another top finish for Roger-Yves Bost, who took fourth place with Bluemuch Des Baleines (v. Chacco-Blue). And a second fifth place today went to Simon Delestre, this time in the saddle of Tinka’s Hero Z (v. Tinka’s Boy). Place six went to the Argentinian José María Larocca with the Gaillard de La Pomme-gelding Finn Lente.
