Deusser wins Rotterdam Topsport Prize

A little while later forty-four combinations took the challenge in the €52.000,- Rotterdam Topsport Prize over 1,50 meter. In the jump-off Daniel Deusser was quickest, riding the Holsteiner-gelding Casallvano (v. Casall). Kevin Staut jumped to second place with the black gelding Blackonda (v. Kannan), finishing the jump-off in 37,24 seconds – just 0,09 seconds shy of Deusser. In the saddle of Cochella (v. Cartani 4) Swedish rider Angelie von Essen ended in third place after a clear round in 38,20 seconds.

Fourth place went to McLain Ward from the USA, riding Kasper van het Hellehof (v. Emerald) and Beat Mändli ended in place five with Dsarie (v. Veron). Another placing in this class for Ibrahim Hani Bisharat: he jumped to sixth place riding the ten-year-old bay gelding Blushing (v. Epsom Gesmeray).

With the jumping done for today, we’re getting ourselves ready for the FEI Dressage Nations Cup of The Netherlands Grand Prix Special starting at 16:30, followed by the Freestyle at 19:00.
